For many years, Pastor Alva Huffer worked tirelessly putting together Systematic Theology. Originally prepared in mimeographed syllabus form, it was used as a textbook at Oregon Bible College. Since its publication, Systematic Theology has travelled and been taught literally around the world, still being used as a foundation in churches and ministries today. As we celebrate 50 years since being published in book form, we are inspired by a portion of the story shared by Dr. Huffer at the 90th Annual Church of God General Conference. God's Plan for this Planet
The Great Creator has designed our unique planet to be perfectly in balance to preserve and sustain life. Bible Christians believe God is the King of the Universe, infinite in wisdom and power. From the structure of the smallest atom to the movement of the stars, God shows His intelligent purpose and plan for His perfect creation. And guess what? He created you. He knows everything about you. And He wants you to know Him. You're as important in His creation as anything He's ever made. And He has a plan and a purpose for your life through His Son. Is He in your plans too?

The Keynote of Christianity 1977
The Christian life is characterized by triumph, joy, and victory. The world is full of sin and sorrow, discouragement, defeat, and despair. But in Christ, we know what the future holds. Our hope is in the purpose and the plan of God. We look for the joy in the earth made new. We rejoice in the confidence and assurance we have. We act differently. We react differently. We live differently. We live in victory.
