Each of us is called to be a witness for a Christ. Like a witness in a courtroom, we are called to testify to what we know. Jesus told his disciples that they would be his witnesses, and he still expects us to share the good news.

_In Everything, Give Thanks Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC
It's natural to be thankful for good things, but as believers, we're told to give thanks in everything. Even when bad things happen to us, we can find a reason to be thankful. Often, God has already planned for something good to come out of the bad. In today's message, we look at some of the examples of God making a bad situation turn out good from some of the stories in the Bible.
1 Thess. 5:16-18; Gen. 45:7; Acts 5:41,42; Matt. 5:12; Rom. 5:3; 2 Cor. 12:10; James 1:2,3; 1 Pet. 4:12,13

_Thanksgiving, 1456 B.C. Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
There was no turkey and no gravy - just lots and lots of manna - on the Israelites' 40 year journey. God provided for them every step of the way, but they did a lot of grumbling and complaining instead of thanking Him for His provision. Sometimes, we tend to be a little like the children of Israel too. We're so blessed that we become so complacent, instead of serving the One who has so richly blessed us. In today's study, we are reminded of what we can thank God for from Moses' message to the people. Will you too express your gratitude for God's gifts?
Deut. 2:7; 1:2,3; 6:12; 8:2,4; Psa. 103:14,2; 139:1-3; 37:23; 34:10; Matt. 6:8; 28:20; Heb. 13:5

The apostle Paul was a man who had endured much for the gospel, but he still could find much to be thankful for. In his letter to the Ephesians, he reminds the church of three things: the hope we have in Jesus, the wealth and inheritance we have today and in the future, and the power of God that we are supplied as believers.

The Thanksgiving of God's Pilgrims Pastor Hollis Partlowe
At this season of the year, we turn our thoughts towards Thanksgiving. We remember the courage and faith of the
Pilgrims who made their difficult voyage to America. We too are "Pilgrims" in this age. Like the Pilgrims, we cannot surrender our principles even under great persecution. We are on a journey to a promised land, and our great hope is life in a better country that is to come. And also like the Pilgrims, we have much thanksgiving to share because of all the ways that our God has blessed us.

A Fellowship Divine Pastor E. Richard Smith - 1982
You can't keep a fire going with just one log, but sometimes we think we can. We think we can walk alone. But when troubles come, we need the Everlasting Arms. We need the fellowship of other believers. We need to be walking daily with our God. When we walk step-by-step with God, His son, and with each other, we begin making our journey towards the Kingdom. That's the theme in today's message as we examine the purpose of assembling with the church and how we can encourage and strengthen one another while we're waiting for Christ's return.
Ecc. 4:9,10; Psa. 122:1; 23; Heb. 10:25; Mal. 3:15; Acts 2:42; Isa. 44:8; James 2:23; 1 John 1:6,7; John 15:13-15; Amos 3:3

_Hope for Uncertain Times: Hope that is more than Hype Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, AZ
According to the Urban Dictionary, "hype" is a a clever marketing strategy where a product is advertised in a way that we feel like we can't live without it. We're exposed to hype everyday, but sadly, hype has often made its way into the church today. But that's not why we gather. Instead of hype, we focus on our hope. Hope is solid. Hope is steadfast and sure. And in today's message, we focus on a hope that is more than hype.

_The Terms of Surrender Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
The story of Ruth is a story of redemption. We see how Ruth and Naomi went from having nothing, from having lost everything, to living a life full of the blessings of God. In today's message, we follow Naomi as she starts forgetting about herself and starts taking care of Ruth's welfare and future. We examine the "terms of surrender." It's not that you give up and quit. It's not that you let go and let God do everything for you. It's that you do all you can, and you leave the results in His hands. If you're willing to look out for others, and you're willing to take the necessary risk, and you're willing to deal with the inevitable delays, God is ready to do marvelous things in your life.

_The Open Bible Pulpit: A Day of Good News Pastor Chuck Jones E-mail Chuck Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
More than 2000 years ago, life was hard in Samaria. The people in the city were surrounded by an invading army. Their food supply was cut off. They were suffering and scared. They didn't know if they would even live to see another day. But everything was about to change. Good news was coming. It's all changed for us too. God has given us good news. Jesus has made a way that we too can be a part of God's family. Are we keeping it to ourselves, or are we bringing it to the hopeless around us?

_God's Plan from Eden to Eden Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC
When you read through the Bible, you find God is the same from beginning to end. The earth is also the same from beginning to end. And so is man. The eternal purpose and plan of God will ultimately be fulfilled when the curse is removed, and Eden is restored. The separation of man and God will end, and all things will be made new. All of God's covenants will be fulfilled. As believers, we look forward to the day when God's plan of the ages will culminate upon this earth. Will you be a part of God's tomorrow?

Thankful for Life Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
There's so much to be thankful for, but without life, there would no fun, freedom,or fulfillment. God designed and created and formed all life, but he specifically designed each person to enjoy life and live for Him. Even through all of life's difficulties, He promises us abundant life through His son. We have to live each day honoring life and living for Him. In today's message, we are reminded how great a gift life is and how we should respond to life in our daily living.

Hope for Uncertain Times: A Hope Alive with Possibilities Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, AZ
In the Apostle Peter's first epistle, he writes to remind his readers of the hope we share. Because Jesus has been raised from the dead to immortality, we are also promised a future life of immortality on a perfect, restored earth when he returns. And the more we are distressed by life's struggles today, the more we can focus on the living hope we are promised. But it's not automatic. We have to prepare our minds and our hearts to be ready for whatever comes our way.

Mentoring Spiritual Growth Pastor John Wincapaw E-mail John Blood River Church of God Springfield, Louisiana
It's not always easy to serve Christ, but we're not promised that it will be. The Christian life is a challenge. To serve Christ, we have to imitate him. We have to behave as we believe. We have to apply what we've learned into action. We have to grow as a body. And when we've got that, we're still not done. We have to mentor others to live and serve and grow in Christ. That's what we're reminded of in today's message from the Apostle Paul's letter to the church at Corinth.
1 Cor. 4:6-20; Rom. 12:2; Luke 18:9-14; Matt. 5:6; Rev. 3:17,18; John 10:10; 16:33; Heb. 10:24,25; James 5:16; Ecc. 4:10; Isa. 29

The Thousand-Year Reign Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
When Jesus returns, where will he reign, and what will the earth be like? How long will he reign? What can we expect? The Bible speaks of a time period of a thousand years when Jesus will rule over the earth. Many have heard of the "millennium" but don't know what it means or when it will be. In today's study, we examine what Bible prophecy reveals about the second coming of Christ and what will happen after he returns.
Isa. 11:1-10; 2:3,4; 16:4,5; 9:6; 65:18,19; Rev. 20:4,6; 2 Tim. 4:3; Acts 1:11,6; 3:20; Luke 1:32; 8:1; Jer. 3:17; 2 Tim. 2:12; Psa. 72:4;
Dan. 7:27; 1 Chr. 28:5; Zech. 9:10; Ezek. 36:29; 1 Cor. 15:24-28

Fearless Living in Fearful Times Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
We've probably all heard the statement that "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." But what exactly does that really mean? As we watch the news and see what's happening around the world, we can't help but feel afraid sometimes. But at least 45 times in the Bible, God makes the statement, "Do not fear." And He means it. And if we believe it, we need to live like it. In today's message, we're encouraged to live fearlessly for God.

Does the News Really Matter? Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
As we watch and read the world news, it's easy to see the worsening times that surround us. What's happening in
the Middle East? What about Russia? What about Iran? What about war? Will there ever be peace in Israel? In today's message, Pastor Michael encourages us to be alert to what's happening. The news is unfolding exactly as God said it would. God has already provided us the details. Are you paying attention?

Faith for our Times Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, Greenville SC
The days of Noah and of Lot were a very violent and evil age. Sadly, in our times today, we have seen many terrible changes in church, in school, and in our country that characterize our age. The value of human life is taken so lightly. We see the economic distress and the ever-increasing violence. How do we keep our faith? How do we endure? How do we make it?
Hebrews 11:32-12:2

Go Out and Serve Pastor John Wincapaw E-mail John Blood River Church of God Springfield, Louisiana
If we're going to serve, then we have to be ready to serve. We have to consider our service. Who are you serving? Why are you serving? How are you serving? That's what we're reminded of in today's message from the Apostle Paul's first letter to Corinth. We have to be faithful stewards while Christ is away. The Master is returning. Will you be found serving him?
1 Cor. 4:1-5; Mark 10; Luke 22; Matt. 24:45; Rom. 14:10; 2 Cor. 5:10; Rev. 2:10

The Lord's Prayer Joseph Partain
Most of us have grown up seeing others pray in church or at special events, but do you really know how to pray? Do you know what to pray for? You're not alone. Even Jesus' own disciples wanted to be taught exactly how to pray. In today's message, we examine the words of the most famous prayer in the Bible. In "the Lord's prayer," we study to see what Jesus prayed for and what we can learn from his prayer for our daily lives.
Matt. 6:5-15; 4:17; 19:16-22; Deut. 4:25; 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:6; 10:13; Isa. 44:8; Acts 2:38-41, 42-47; Prov. 30:7-9; 1 John 2:15; Rev. 21

Fabulous Finds Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
"American Pickers" in one of the most popular shows on TV. On the show, they search high and low for "rusty gold." They are passionate in their searching and celebrate their finds. Even more so, God is passionate about finding his "lost" sons and daughters. As our loving Father, he celebrates when we return to him, and it doesn't matter what we did or where we've been. He wants us to be in His kingdom. In today's message, we learn these lessons from the stories of the lost - and found - in the parables of Luke 15.
Luke 15:1-24; Prov. 17:5; 19:17; Psa. 103:8-17; Isa. 1:18; Micah 7:18,19; Heb. 8:12; John 3:16; Acts 2:21; Rom. 5:8; 8:32;1 Tim. 2:4;

Here I Come, Ready or Not Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
Do you remember playing hide-and-seek as a child? You tried to hide in the best place without being found. Adam and Eve tried hiding from God too, but it didn't work. Ready or not, the world wasn't ready for the flood either, but it came. Herod wasn't ready for another king, but Jesus was born. The Pharisees weren't ready for the Messiah to come, but he did. And Jesus is coming again. Now is the time to prepare. We don't want to run and hide when he comes. We want to greet Christ with joy. Are you ready - or not?
Matt. 24:36-50; 25:1-13; Gen. 2:5,16,17; 6:5; 19:17; Exod. 3:2; Gal. 4:4; Mark 13:39; Luke 21:34,36

Israel's Immense Importance Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
Many of the policies of the United States towards Israel are vital for their security and our security, but we can make no mistake where God stands. From the first promise made to Abraham, God has had this little nation in His plans as a special blessing. As we look at the history and the prophecy concerning this Jewish state, we are reminded of to pay attention to what's going on in the Middle East. We need to be aware and stay informed. And though we know that there is trouble coming, we also know that Jesus is coming. Are you prepared?

Hope when it Hurts Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
We all have to deal with personal pain and suffering. We all face tragedy. If we're not careful, we can easily become hopeless. But the message of hope encourages us to hang in there when we're being dragged down. It convinces us to persevere through tribulation. It doesn't disappoint. That's what we learn in today's message as we focus on the hope that's set before us as believers.

You Don't Have to be Somebody Special to do Something Special for God
Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
The odds weren’t very good to start with, and then they got worse. And Gideon was just a simple farmer. Unlike some farmers, he had no desire to be anything more then a farmer. He never had political ambitions. He never dreamt of being a military leader - and yet God had a different plan for his life. In today's message, we learn 3 valuable lessons for us today from the life and the story of Gideon and the Midianites.

Handling Life's "Impossibles" Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
The children of Israel were facing a king who had set out to destroy them. He had an enormous army with iron chariots and iron weapons. The Jews had sticks and stones. Everything looked impossible, but "they cried to the LORD for help." Then they realized the truth about their circumstances. In today's message, we look at two people who learned some important principles about handling an impossible situation–a man by the name of Barak, and a woman by the name of Deborah. From their story, we learn three important lessons when we face life's "impossible" problems.
Judges 4:1-16

Hope for Uncertain Times Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
We seem to live in a less certain, less hopeful world since the attacks of 9/11. But as followers of Christ, we have the antidote for a hopeless, dying world. We have hope. We have a future. We know God's plan to redeem and rescue the world. Are we living like we believe it? In today's message, we are reminded to be energized and excited as we define our confident expectations through our faith.

While it is Called Today... Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, Greenville SC
The children of Israel were forced to wander in the wilderness because of their disobedience. Even Moses and Aaron were barred from entering the Promised Land because they provoked God. In today's study, the writer of Hebrews reminds us of these examples for our instruction. If we want to enter the Promised Land, we cannot depart from the faith. Time is running out. We must choose to follow while it is called today. Will you? Are you?
Heb. 3:7-14; Psa. 95; 78:18,41; 106:13,24,32; Exo. 17; Num. 20; 13-15; 14:34; Deut. 12:9,10; Isa. 60:22; 2 Cor. 6:2

I Just Want to Remind You Pastor Hollis Partlowe
Peter wrote his last letter to stimulate believers to wholesome thinking. He reminded them of what they had been taught and that the end was drawing near. He challenged them to live holy lives in this world as we wait for the new heavens and the new earth that is coming. Are we thinking of the eternal rather than the temporal? Are we thinking of the supernatural rather than the natural? What kind of people are we? What kind of people ought we to be? Find out from the Apostle Peter today.
2 Peter 3; 1 John 2:15-17

The Open Bible Pulpit: Where is Grace? Pastor Chuck Jones E-mail Chuck Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
What does Jesus expect out of us? How much more can we do? We are told not to conform to the world, but are we willing to be transformed? We are also told not to be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good, but are we willing to sacrifice more? Are we willing to confront evil by showing grace? Are you ready to learn how? Find out in today's study.
Luke 6:27-36; 17:6-9; Rom. 12:1,2,21; Heb. 4:16

The Voice of Tomorrow: Just Trust Him Pastor Dale Swartz E-mail Dale Litchfield Church of God Litchfield, MN
Kingdom Ministries, Inc. is a completely faith-based ministry created to simply and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God and to share God's love in a practical way. In today's message, we examine the faith of Abraham. God had promised that a great nation would come from him, but it had been 25 years. Abraham and his wife were past child-bearing years, but the Lord had promised them a child. When there was no other way, they just had to trust Him.
Gen. 12; 17; 18:10; 21:1; Heb. 11; John 5:1-5; Matt. 6:25-34

Jesus, the Express Image Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, Greenville SC
In the first chapter of Hebrews, the writer tells us that Jesus is the "express image" of the person of God. But what does that mean? Does it mean Jesus is the God of the Bible? What exactly does it mean to be in God's likeness and image? How do we see God in His son? Find out in today's study.
Heb. 1:1-4; 7:26; 2:17; Deut. 8:15; Php. 2:6; 2 Cor. 4:4; 3:18; John 5:30; 14:31,14,9; 13:34; 12:45; Col. 1:15-19; 2:9; Isa. 53:11

Jesus and the Two Thieves Pastor Hollis Partlowe
Three crosses stood on Calvary. Three men were on them. On these crosses, we see three different pictures: the sinner, the saint, and the Savior. On one of the crosses, a thief made a special request. He asked Jesus to remember him when Christ comes in his kingdom. In Jesus' reply, we see a promise. We see hope for a dying sinner, and it's the same hope we share today. But many have confused the timing and the location of the reward that Jesus promised. Are we rewarded immediately in heaven after we die? Is that what Jesus promised? In today's message, we examine what Jesus really promised on the cross that day by looking more fully at what he preached and taught in his ministry.
Luke 23:39,42,46,47; 19:11; 14:14; Matt. 4:23,17; 5:5; 12:40; Rev. 3:21; 11:15; 22:12; 2:7; 1:18; 2 Tim. 4:1; Gen. 2:17,8; Psa. 2:7; 16:10; Acts 13:33; Mark 13:32; Heb. 11:39,40; Acts 2:27,29,31; John 19:41,42; 3:13; 20:17; 19:31,32; Isa. 53; Gal. 1:1; 1 Cor. 15:3,4
