Sharing the Gospel Michael Cisler E-mail Michael North Kent Bible Church Rockford, Michigan
The last words of Jesus before his ascension were about being his witnesses into all of the world. It was a message his disciples understood and followed, even unto death. We are called to be witnesses for him too. We're called to share our story of faith. We're called to share the gospel. It's not always easy or comfortable, but we can't keep silent. Will you be a witness for Christ?

The Wedding Invitation Mark DeYoung E-mail Mark Blanchard Church of God Blanchard, Michigan
Sometimes we pass right over Scriptures without fully realizing the significance in the passages we read. As the world focuses on the royal wedding today, we read about "the bride of Christ" and "the marriage supper of the Lamb." The wedding invitations have gone out. The time is almost here. Are you ready for the wedding?

Wide-Eyed Heartburn Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
Following the resurrection, two of Christ's disappointed followers were walking to Emmaus. Their hearts were heavy. Their dreams were crushed. And then a man they didn't recognize appeared beside them and explained the Scriptures. Suddenly, their minds were opened. After dining with the man later that evening, their eyes were opened. Though they didn't realize it, they had been walking with Jesus all along. Often, we also forget the Scriptures we already know and believe when the going gets tough. We don't see Christ even when he's always been right there beside us all along. It's a great story and lesson for our lives today.

Jesus died just like he said he would. Jesus was raised just like he said he would. He also promises us that we'll be raised from the dead in the same way when he returns. Like the Apostle Paul, will that message change you from a zero to a hero for Christ? Will the resurrection challenge you to begin your first steps of faith? How will the empty tomb affect your life?

The Long-Range View Hollis Partlowe
In today's sermon, we look at an often misused text where Jesus was addressing his disciples in an hour of crisis. He was putting the focus on the eternal and not the immediate, looking beyond this age and this earth, assuring them - and us - of things to come. Knowing this, how resolute are we?
John 14:1-3; 17:3; Gal. 6:10; Eph. 2:19; Heb. 3:5,6; 11:23-26; 2:11; 12:27; 1 Cor. 15; 13:12,13; Matt. 6:19; Rom. 8:38;

Kingdom Ministries, Inc. is a completely faith-based ministry created to simply and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God and to share God's love in a practical way. In today's message, we examine the resurrection of Jesus. He had told his disciples he would die, but he has also told them he would rise again. " HE IS RISEN ! "16For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 17and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. 20But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.21For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming...

The Message of Palm Sunday Mark DeYoung E-mail Mark Blanchard Church of God Blanchard, Michigan
The crowd was chanting and rejoicing. Throngs of people from everywhere were laying down their garments for the procession. Some began cutting palm branches and laying them along the road. It was a time of great celebration and jubilation. But two groups of people within the crowd weren't please at all. This man was a threat to their power and influence. The very ones who should have recognized the Christ were the very ones who would reject him. What about you? Are you looking for the approach of the coming King, or will you reject the very one who is the only one that can really save you?

Triumph through Suffering Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
Why is their pain and suffering in life? It's a question that often challenges our faith. But sometimes suffering is a part of God's triumphant plan. In today's text from Isaiah, we see the detailed picture of God's suffering servant as we examine how God's ultimate purpose for His people was accomplished through the suffering of His only son.
Isaiah 53; John 12:32; 1 Corinthians 1:23,24; Matthew 27:12-14; Mark 15:27; Mark 14:43; Acts 8:34,35; Philippians 2

Christ our Passover Paul Rankin E-mail Paul Church of God, Faith of Abraham Cashmere Washington
In his first letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul alludes to Jesus as being "our Passover." He also tells us to "purge out the old leaven" with the "unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." His meaning is clear. As the Israel nation would remove all leaven from their household for the Passover, we are to remove the leaven of sin from our lives. And as the blood of the Lamb saved the children of Israel from the final plague, we are saved by the blood of the Lamb of God. Will we accept the perfect sacrifice?

Because He Died Terry M. Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God Greenville, SC
On Resurrection Sunday, we usually emphasize the blessings that come to us because Jesus lives, but today, we look at the blessings that came because he died. By one man, Adam, all of mankind was sold into sin and bondage, and death came by sin. We all deserved to die. But Jesus chose to die to purchase our freedom with his blood, and through our Messiah, we will live eternally when he comes.
1 Corinthians 1:18-24

Gethsemane: Reading of the Wills Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
Where there's a will, there's a way. That's a famous old saying, but in today's message, it's even more meaningful. As Jesus saw his death fast approaching, he was greatly distressed. He cried to his Father, but he surrendered his will to the Father. He didn't take the easy way out. He didn't give in. In his words, "not my will, but Yours be done," he gave his disciples an example to live by. Those same words still apply to us today. Have you surrendered your life to the Father? Maybe it's finally time to make that choice. Will you?

The Whole City Asked, "Who is This?" John Railton Family Bible Church Granger, Indiana
When Jesus came, he was not all that the people had hoped and expected. As he made his "triumphal entry" into Jerusalem, he already knew the acclaim he was receiving would soon turn into shouts of rejection. The very people he was sent to save would be the very ones who would decide to turn their backs on him. We have the same choice. Do you know the living Christ? Will you accept Jesus, the Son of David, the Son of Man, the Son of God?

Behold the Lamb of God Mark DeYoung E-mail Mark Blanchard Church of God Blanchard, Michigan
Before Jesus officially began his public ministry, he went out to see his cousin John. As he approached John, Jesus was called the "Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world," but that's not the only time Jesus was called the Lamb as we find in today's study. We also see how he was the Lamb of God in his life and sacrifice and why you need to know the Lamb of God in your life.

Hebrews 11 Series #8: Go Forward in Faith Terry M. Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God Greenville, SC
In this week's study from the "great cloud of witnesses" of faith, we examine the story of the Hebrew people following their exodus from Egypt. They had finally escaped and were on their way to freedom, but they were now being pursued by Pharaoh's army. They were trapped between the sea and the Egyptian military. They were afraid. There was no way out. Then Moses told them to "be still." And then God told them to "go forward." And we know the rest of the story. It's a great lesson for us in our world and in our troubles. God still delivers his people today, but sometimes we have to be still before we can go forward.
Hebrews 12:1,2; Exodus 14; 8:29; 9:14-16; Romans 10:17; 1 Corinthians 10; Mark 16; Jeremiah 29:5

The Keys to Death and the Grave Hollis Partlowe
Over and over again, Jesus warned his disciples that he was going to be turned over to the authorities and put to death. His death was not the end though. He had also told his disciples that he would be raised from the dead, and his resurrection from the grave changed everything. He overcame death. He conquered the grave. He has been given all authority and power. And when he comes again, he will raise the righteous dead in victory. Are you anticipating that great resurrection day? Are you ready?

Dare to be a Daniel Mike Montgomery E-mail Mike Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith Pelzer, SC
A young man and his three friends were taken by force from the country in which they lived to a new kingdom hundreds of miles away. They were taught a new language and given new names. They could have easily lived in great despair in this new land, but they didn't. They could easily have given up their principles, but they resolved not to defile themselves. They took their stand even when no one else stood with them. And in their story, we find a great example for us.
