That's the basic message Paul preached to an absolutely pagan, idolatrous audience in his sermon on Mars Hill. It's the same gospel message Jesus and his disciples preached and taught. But why has the world rejected such a simple and basic message of salvation?

But as strange as it may sound, sometimes we're all "stuck in kindergarten" in church. We don't want to "grow up" in our faith. We want to stay right where we are. As we study the Apostle Paul's letter, we are challenged to grow and mature in our Christian lives.

Working While Watching Pastor Jack Hearp
Throughout the writings of the Bible, there is a continuous call to be watchful. The emphasis of our watching is on the return of Jesus Christ. Some ask why it matters if his return is still afar off, but we must always be alert and on guard to never let the focus of his teaching diminish. We stay continually on duty for our King. So don't get caught napping. Stay awake. Watch for the signs of his coming. Live each day like he will return.

Why do we exist as a church? Have you really thought about it? What's our mission? In today's message, Pastor Mark tries to answer that question as we examine the instruction Jesus gave his disciples. He told them to go and make more disciples. He wanted us to imitate him to bring people to God. So how are we doing? Are we using opportunities to point people to God?
