Nitty Gritty for Disciples
Pastor Jeff Fletcher In the final chapter of Hebrews, the writer exhorts the readers to live out their faith. He reminds us that we have been rescued from our sin and are now called to be grace-filled disciples. But what does one look like? How do we live? In today's study, we learn the 9 characteristics to make your faith and your worship your lifestyle. Heb. 13; 1 John 4:7,8; John 3:16; Gen. 18,19; Eph.5:22-32; 1 Cor. 7; 1 Tim. 6:10; Php. 4:11; Col. 3:16; Heb. 10:25
Our Future is Bright in Spite of the Darkness
Pastor Rex Cain Economic crisis...a new cold war with Russia...a threat from Islamic extremists... These are some of the headlines we read in the news we watch each day. What does it all mean? What does it all have to do with that little nation of Israel? What does it have to do with us? Can we really hope for a better future? Find out in today's message.

Called to Influence Pastor Steve Taylor Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
We are called to influence the world for the cause of Christ and the kingdom of God. We're called to have an impact, a permeating influence as his citizens. We're called to "be something" rather than to "do something." In the Beatitudes, we learn the qualities and characteristics it takes to be an influence as the "Salt" and the "Light" in the world.
Matthew 5:3-16; Luke 13:18-21; John 8:12

Defining the Gospel Mike Dart E-mail Mike Church of God, Faith of Abraham Cashmere, Washington
God created the world and offers man a chance to repent and escape judgement and obtain eternal life on the earth through his Son when Jesus returns. That's the basic message Paul preached to an absolutely pagan, idolatrous audience in his sermon on Mars Hill. It's the same gospel message Jesus and his disciples preached and taught. But why has the world rejected such a simple and basic message of salvation?
Acts 17:22-34

He promised there would be a coming kingdom on earth and a descendant of David would be the king. This descendant was Jesus. And the focus of the ministry of Jesus was on preaching and teaching of the Kingdom to come.

Is Your Faith Stuck in Kindergarten? Pastor John Wincapaw E-mail John Blood River Church of God Springfield, Louisiana
What if you grew to be an adult and still never moved on past kindergarten in school? It sounds strange. We all know something would be wrong. But as strange as it may sound, sometimes we're all "stuck in kindergarten" in church. We don't want to "grow up" in our faith. We want to stay right where we are. In today's message, Pastor John reminds us that even the early church in Corinth had the same problem. As we study the Apostle Paul's letter, we are challenged to grow and mature in our Christian lives.

Our Source of Hope is God Alone Pastor Michael Cisler E-mail Mike North Kent Bible Church Rockford, Michigan
In what kinds of things today do we put our hope? Money? The government? Other people? Our job? But ultimately, there is only one place we can have a constant, secure, and certain future. There is only one individual in which we can always have a sure confidence. The world will let us down. But God never fails.

The Word of Salvation Pastor Larry Mayberry E-mail Larry Pennellwood Church of God Wyoming, Michigan
Now broadcasting services Sundays at 6 p.m. EST
God is a great and mighty Father, and He has given us the greatest gift of all through salvation. He offers us eternal life in the coming Kingdom of God. But it only comes through Christ. There's only one way. And there's only one Gospel we must believe to be saved. We can't be saved without it. There's nothing that replaces it. Will you believe the word of salvation?
Rom. 1:16,17; 10:17; James 1:21,22; John 6:44,45; Matt. 15:6-9; 7:21; Heb. 5:8,9; Acts 2:47

No Time for Silence Pastor Dick Eldred
Sometimes the Christian life can become the same old routine if you let it, and we can miss the greatest blessing that God has for us. In today's story, we learn that the greatest witness for Christ is not necessarily the one who knows all the Bible, the one who's the greatest teacher, or the best debater, but the person who has come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior with an unquenchable excitement. A man who sat hopelessly day after day found the kind of healing only Jesus can give - and it transformed his life forever. And he couldn't keep silent! What an example for us!
Acts 3:1-11

The Day of the Lord Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
Israel is being prepared right now for the day of its salvation. Israel keeps searching for peace and safety through treaties and agreements, but we are told in the Bible that there will only be false security until Jesus returns. The Arab nations want control of Jerusalem. The nations of the world just want the fighting to stop. But we are told there is still a time of trouble ahead. The Day of the Lord is near.

The Three Offices of Ezekiel Pastor Hollis Partlowe
Ezekiel was one of the major prophets in the Old Testament. At about 25 years of age, he was taken into Babylonian captivity, where he preached to the captives. In his book, he wrote of the visions and the symbols he saw, serving as a spokesman for God. And in the three offices of Ezekiel, we find application for our lives and our times today.

The Holy Spirit can be a confusing subject filled with a lot of misunderstandings and misinformation. What do the words "Holy Spirit" themselves mean? How are the words used and interpreted? Can the Holy Spirit of God also be God? "7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building."
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
Laborers Together with God Pastor Jack Hearp
The times and the types of people living today are really quite similar to those after the time of Christ's earthly ministry. There are also many similarities in the city of Corinth to the world in which we live in today. Our value as followers in Christ is in what we are doing for him. Jesus is our foundation, and we build on him. We labor for him, and we all have a function. So let's all get to working...

Working While Watching Pastor Jack Hearp
Throughout the writings of the Bible, there is a continuous call to be watchful. The emphasis of our watching is on the return of Jesus Christ. Some ask why it matters if his return is still afar off, but we must always be alert and on guard to never let the focus of his teaching diminish. We stay continually on duty for our King. So don't get caught napping. Stay awake. Watch for the signs of his coming. Live each day like he will return.

Was Jesus a "Christian?" Pastor J. Dan Gill, Editor, 21st Century Reformation
Traditional Christianity has historically defined who Christians are and aren't. But would Jesus qualify as a "Christian" based upon their own definitions? Did Jesus ever say anything about God being a multiplicity of persons? Was Jesus a Trinitarian? What were Christ's own claims? What did he believe? What did he teach? Find out the truth in today's study.
John 14:28; 5:30; 17:3; Mark 12:29; Matt. 16:16; 19:24; 25:40; Heb. 13:8; Acts 10:38; 9:4; 2:36; Luke 12:32; 6:26; 18:22; Rom. 8:17,18

The Perfect Plan of God Pastor James Ritch Resurrection Hope Church of God Lenoir, NC
We're all looking for answers. We're all busy making our own plans. We're all busy just being busy. But where are you in God's plan? That's what really matters. Do you know? Everyone has a part. Will you be a part of His plan for you?
John 3:16; Philippians 3:14

Being Disciples of Christ Pastor Mark DeYoung E-mail Mark Blanchard Church of God Blanchard, Michigan
Why do we exist as a church? Have you really thought about it? What's our mission? In today's message, Pastor Mark tries to answer that question as we examine the instruction Jesus gave his disciples. He told them to go and make more disciples. He wanted us to imitate him to bring people to God. So how are we doing? Are we using opportunities to point people to God?
Matt. 10:24,42,52; 28:20; Luke 4:26,27; 14:33; John 18:20; 1 Tim. 2:15; 1 Thess. 5:16

The Challenges in the World in which we Live Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
The world may change, but our message doesn't. Jesus is still the only answer. In today's study, we learn how to share our faith as we examine how the Apostle Paul shared his in the city of Athens. We too are surrounded by 'idols' of many different forms. There are many discouraging challenges that face the church. But we have hope. We have good news to share to an overwhelmed and overburdened world. How will we respond?
Acts 17:16-31; Eph. 6; Ecc. 3:11; 2 Tim. 3
