Moving On Pastor Andy Cisneros FUEL 2011
Have you ever heard about some of Andy's first dates? It's really pretty sad. But he's moved on. As we look at the Israelites being led by Moses out of Egypt, we see a people who didn't want to move on. When they were stuck between the mountains and the water, they wanted to turn back. Sometimes in our lives we face the same kinds of barriers. It looks like a way out is insurmountable, but that's when we have to let God provide the path. It's about what God can do, not what we can do. We have to trust in Him, and live by faith.

Because of What You Said Pastor John Wincapaw FUEL 2011
In today's story, we see how one afternoon with Jesus completely changed the life of one Samaritan woman. She knew of the Messiah, but she didn't know Jesus. But one conversation changed all of her priorities. She left all of her past behind, and believed on him. Then, she even went and told others to come meet and believe in Jesus. It's that way for us as disciples today. It's time for us to leave everything behind and believe on him.

Your Message and Your Actions Lacey Dunn FUEL 2010
In our lives, we must walk as Jesus walked. Our actions must reflect our words. If we don't, people will see it, and our witness will be ineffective. We want to be worthy vessels for God. In today's message, we are encouraged to set an example for believers in our speech, our lives, and our faith.

From the Cradle to the Cross to the Kingdom Joe Martin FUEL 2010
Join Dr. Joe as we share the roller coaster ride in the life of Jesus. Christ began low in the cradle. His ride was a slow one. He grew in knowledge and stature. It was many years later when we first see him demonstrating his knowledge of Scripture. He served humbly and compassionately and eventually paid the ultimate price. He began in the cradle, went to the cross, and rose to the right hand of God. But he's coming back down. Are you ready to catch that ride on his way back?

I Will Never Leave You Hope Fletcher FUEL 2010: Kinetic
In today's message, Hope begins by sharing a story about a shopping trip to the craft store with her mom when she was young. Hope got lost. She was afraid. She couldn't find her mom anywhere. She felt alone. When she found her mom though, she learned that she would never be left alone. God never leaves us all alone either - even when we feel alone. God is with us. God will guide us. God will uphold us. What a comfort knowing that!

Outcast Jule Driskill a message excerpt recorded from FUEL 2009: Elemental - Sunday Evening Opening Session
Going to FUEL isn't about sports, a love connection, or freedom for a week. The week is focused on a discovery of individual life purpose with God. In today's session, Julie asks us to think about who God has created you to be. Everyone must answer where they came from, why they're here, and where we're going in this life. There are thousands of locations beckoning us. There are many opportunities waiting for us, and time is ticking. There's work to do. But success can only be achieved when we discover our God-given purpose. What's His vision for you?
Psalms 16:11; John 4; Matthew 22:37-39

The Rich Man and Lazarus Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC
There are many differing interpretations of the story of the rich man and Lazarus. Many consider it to be the greatest text describing the state of life after death. But is it? Is that why Jesus told the story? Is the story to be taken literally? Is it perhaps a parable? Or maybe, are the people and events of this story an inspired satire? In today's message, Pastor Ferrell gives us his interpretation as he describes the real meaning behind this often misunderstood text.
Luke 16:19-31; Ecc. 9:5,10; Psa. 37:25; 146:3,4; Matt. 13:34; 23:13-33; Judges 9:8-15; 1 Kings 18:27; Luke 15; John 11; Rev. 20:13

Triumphant Together Dr. Joe Martin Church of God General Conference 2010
The message of the Bible is a message of triumph. The one and only God sent his one and only Son to rescue us from our sins. But our faith is a faith that calls on others to join with us as we join with God. We're not in this alone. We're in this together. We share in the victories now and in the age that's coming. So let us work together as we look ahead.

The Cost of Freedom Pastor Michael Hoffman E-mail Michael Oregon Church of God Oregon, Illinois
The founders of this country paid the ultimate price. They gave up their lives and livelihoods to fight for freedom - and none defected. We living today now reap the benefits of the price they paid. As we remember their story, it's also a good time to be reminded of the freedoms we have in Christ. He paid the ultimate price for you and me to win our freedom. How will you respond?

Get Going - The Parable of the Talents Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God
In today's study, we examine the parable of the talents and how three servants used the money they were given. But this story isn't a lesson about handling money. It's a lesson about working and serving the Lord until Jesus returns. God has given talents to everyone according to our abilities. Everyone has something they can do. Everyone has something they can contribute, but we have to put our talents to work. And we have to start working today.

Take Courage Pastor Jeff Fletcher E-mail Jeff Church of God General Conference 2010
Jesus warned his disciples that there would be a great time of tribulation just before his return. As we look around us today, we're seeing many signals that his return may be near. It's exciting, but it can also be frightening if we don't remember what Christ has promised us. He said that we will overcome because he has overcome. When trials and tribulations come our way, we can take courage. Now, what's there to be afraid of?

The Perfect High Priest Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC
Jesus is the only person fully in touch with God and man. He brings man's voice to God and God's presence to man. He was tempted in all ways, just like us, but without sin. He understands everything we're going through. He is perfect in his work, his life, and his example. That's what makes him the perfect High Priest. And through Christ, we can approach the throne with confidence.

The Plan of Wholeness Pastor Michael Cisler E-mail Michael North Kent Bible Church Rockford, Michigan
God's design from the beginning is what he still desires for us - only better. He has promised to one day make everything right again. As believers, we have that great promise in store for us. But it's not just a future promise, it's for living today. When we come to Christ, our lives are different because of this great confidence and hope we share. It's time to recognize it, and start living and praying like it.

Give us the Bread we need Today Pastor Alan Cain E-mail Alan Lawrenceville Church of God Springfield, Ohio
In our continuing look at the Lord's Prayer, today we pause to examine the words, "Give us this day our daily bread." We are reminded of three great truths: 1. We need to ask for what we need. 2. We need to trust our Heavenly Father each day starting today. 3. We need to be God-centered and not self-centered. We can't put our confidence in the abundance of "things." We have to put our confidence in the God who gives all things. So let's live and pray like we believe it.
Matt. 6:11,19,21,25-34; 4; Isa. 33:15; Prov. 30:8; Mark 8:13-17

Faith, Hope, and Luck: Betting on Hope Pastor Seth Ross E-mail Seth North Hills Church of God Springfield, Ohio
We all think we have some idea of what should happen if we have a lot of faith, but is it just a cause-effect relationship with God? Do we really trust Him with our lives, or are we just hoping? Is our Christianity really just a philosophy? How do we know if our faith is real? In this series, we examine what faith really is - and isn't - by continuing with our study to see what it means to have a biblical faith.

Deception Prevention Pastor Steve Taylor E-mail Steve Lakeshore Bible Church Tempe, Arizona
A good counterfeit is hard to detect. It looks real. It looks genuine. It's convincing. But it's still a fake. We have to be so familiar with the genuine that we can know when there's a counterfeit. In the Apostle Paul's letter to the Colossian church, he makes the same warning. He tell us that as followers of Christ, we must always be alert. We must prevent deception. We can't accept any substitutes for our salvation. We must always be on guard to protect and defend the truth.
Colossians 2; Ephesians 3:19

Get God's Love - The Parable of the Good Samaritan Pastor Wally Winner E-mail Wally Joy Fellowship Church of God
The road from Jerusalem to Jericho was a 22-mile long journey with a deep descent full of rocks, crevices, and caves. It was known as the "Bloody Way." It held many opportunities to hide thieves and criminals. This dangerous road is the setting from another parable of Jesus as we focus on the mercy and love of one stranger. He was a Samaritan. Samaritans were abhorred by the Jews, but this "half-breed" would teach a great lesson to the religious leaders who heard this parable. It's a great lesson to us as well. It's up to us to show the same kind of love to our neighbors.
Luke 10:25-37; Deuteronomy 6:4-9

"Parousia" - Our Lord's Arrival Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC
Will the second coming of Christ be literal and physical? Or has it already happened? Is it really spiritual, invisible, and secretive? Where will the second coming be? How do we know? How is the second coming of Christ related to the resurrection? In today's message, we examine how understanding the Greek word "parousia" helps us to understand the second coming, or the arrival, of our Lord Jesus Christ and what will change when he comes.
1 Thess. 4:13-18; Matt. 24:2,23,37,39; 2 Cor. 10:10; 7:6,7; 1 Cor. 15:23; 16:7; 2 Tim. 2:8; Php. 1:26; 2 Pet. 1:16; 2 Thess. 2:8; Dan. 7

Lessons from Dad Pastor Dan Cain E-mail Dan Oregon Church of God, Oregon, Illinois
Believe it or not, Dan wasn't always the saint he is now. Sometimes, he was even a little ornery and had to have a meeting with the "board of education" to learn a lesson. But more importantly, he learned the lessons of godliness from a godly father. In today's message, Dan shares the impact his dad had on his life and the lessons we all can learn from our Heavenly Father.
Eph. 6:1-4; 1 John 2; Psa. 37:23; Deut. 6:4-6; Josh. 24:15

Unless the Lord Builds the House... Pastor Alan Cain E-mail Alan Lawrenceville Church of God Springfield, Ohio
Men are responsible to lead and protect their homes, but it can be easy to be distracted from our priorities and get complacent. We can't lead and protect on our own. We have to follow God's plan and design to build the homes He wants us to build. In today's message, we examine the blueprint for our families and our homes as faithful followers of the Lord.
Psalm 127:1-2; 119:11; 35; 37:28; 91:14; 128:1-6; Deut. 8:1-20; Heb. 13:17

Faith, Hope, and Luck: Better Odds Pastor Seth Ross E-mail Seth North Hills Church of God Springfield, Ohio
We all think we have some idea of what should happen if we have a lot of faith, but is it just a cause-effect relationship with God? Do we really trust Him with our lives, or are we just hoping? Is our Christianity really just a philosophy? How do we know if our faith is real? In this series, we examine what faith really is - and isn't - by beginning our study by making sure we've begun on the right foundation.
Hebrews 4:14

The Son of Man Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In today's message, we explore the title, "the son of man," a title frequently used by Jesus himself. It is not a title emphasizing the "human side" of Jesus but addressing his position. The first man was given dominion over the earth but forfeited it through disobedience. But God has given Jesus the authority to one day have the dominion and power over all of the earth. Will you give him dominion over your life today?

Is There a Reward for Those who do Right? Pastor Hollis Partlowe
From the dawn of human history, man has sought a reward for the work that he does. It's only natural to expect a reward. It's an incentive for the worker. It's the same way in the Christian life. God is a rewarder. Jesus also promised a future reward for those who leave everything to follow him, but we're also promised blessings for today. In today's message, we look closer at the hope we have and the rewards we can expect when we walk and work with Christ.
Matt. 19:27-30; 20:20-23; 2 Chr. 15:7; Luke 18:18-20,28-30; Php. 3:14; Heb. 11:6,24-26; Rom. 2:7; 2 Peter 1:3,4; Psa. 21:4; Job 14:1; 1 John 5:25; Matt. 16:27; Luke 14:14; Rev. 22:12

Restoration Pastor Michael Cisler E-mail Michael North Kent Bible Church Rockford, Michigan
How do you feel after making a poor decision? How do you handle your emotions? Do you feel guilty? If so, you're not alone. The Apostle Peter experienced all of the same feelings. He had denied Christ three times. When Jesus needed him the most, Peter didn't even have the courage to admit that he knew his Messiah. But after Jesus was raised, he restored Peter. Christ reaffirmed Peter's place among his disciples. Jesus forgave and restored him, and he's ready to do the same for you.

40 Days with Immortality Pastor Alan Cain E-mail Alan Lawrenceville Church of God Springfield, Ohio
Before Christ's ascension, his disciples spent 40 days with their resurrected Lord. 40 days of hope. 40 days learning about the Kingdom of God. And after Christ left them, they spent the rest of their lives being his witnesses. It's a great lesson for us. Christ is coming again. The day of his return is fixed. But until he comes, we are to be his witnesses with his power. It's up to us to teach others about the hope we have. It's up to us to to share our faith wherever we are and wherever we go. Will you?

Jesus loved to tell parables to the people, but he didn't always explain. In the parable of the soils, or the sower, however, it is recorded exactly what each part of the story meant as he explained it to his disciples. It's a great lesson for us as we can see what we really are when the gospel message has been shared with us. So which soil are you?

A Burdensome Stone - Part One Pastor Gordon Landry
The events happening in the Middle East will affect our future. Bible prophecy is especially related to the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. God has promised that Jerusalem would become a "burdensome stone" to those who would burden themselves with her. That's why it's so important to know what's happening there and with the nations surrounding this tiny country. In today's message, we begin a look at the modern history that has led to the current conflict.
Psa. 122:6; Zech. 12:1-3

Eternal Values Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In today's text, Peter and John give us a great example of the early church's attitude towards earthly riches and possessions. As they approached a begging lame man, they offered him something he couldn't buy - health and hope. We too are offered the same eternal values, and through our faith, we can possess true happiness and contentment.
Acts 3:1-11; Matthew 8:20; 6:19,33,34

The Voice of Tomorrow: Newborn Babes in Christ Pastor Dale Swartz E-mail Dale Litchfield Church of God Litchfield, MN
Kingdom Ministries, Inc. is a completely faith-based ministry created to simply and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God and to share God's love in a practical way. In today's message, we examine how we become "newborn babes" in Christ. But eventually, we must grow out of our infancy. We must move past the "spiritual milk" as we grow and mature in the family of God.
Eph. 2:8,9; 2 Cor. 5:17; Acts 2:38; Heb. 6:1,2; 1 Cor. 6:14; Heb. 11:39,40

The Open Bible Pulpit: Knowing God Pastor Chuck Jones E-mail Chuck Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
You can know a lot about somebody without ever really knowing them personally. There's a difference. In today's message, we look at how knowing our Heavenly Father, Yahweh, is more than just knowing the facts about Him. He has revealed Himself to us. He wants us to know Him. Do you?

What Now? Pastor Jeff Fletcher Email Jeff Bethel Church of God Pelzer, SC
A graduation is a good time to look at our lives. Life is shorter than we think and goes faster than we can imagine. But if we don't start with God, it's meaningless. It's time to go forward in faith. Start today, and begin the commencement for the rest of eternity.
Ecclesiastes 12:1,13; Psalm 90:10; Deuteronomy 6; Hebrews 10:25; Psalm 111:10

How Can You Enter the Kingdom of God? Dave Hixon E-mail Dave Brush Creek Church of God Tipp City, Ohio
Jesus and his apostles preached the good news of the Kingdom of God everywhere they went. The message of God's world-ruling empire was the core of the gospel message. But what exactly is the Kingdom of God? What does the Bible say? When will it come? How long will it last? Where will it be? How can we enter it? In today's message, Pastor Dave answers all of these questions and encourages us to seek the kingdom first in our lives.
Dan. 2:44,45; 7:27; Rev. 11:15; 19; 21:7; 5:10; Micah 4:1; Isa. 9:6,7; Matt. 24:21,29; 6:33; Acts 14:22

Our Heritage and Our Future
Pastor E. Richard Smith - 1985
As we remember things of the past, we look forward to things in the future. We know God will prevail. Though evil surrounds us, we can live today with hope. Though many things change, we know that God's plan and promises never will. In today's message, we are encouraged to remember what God has in store for those who love Him as we live each day preparing for God's tomorrow.

If God Be For Us
Pastor Terry Ferrell E-mail Terry Greenville Church of God 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
Abraham defeated several kings and their armies with an army made up entirely of his servants. Over 2 million children of Israel passed through the Red Sea in their escape of the Egyptian army. Joshua defeated the heavily fortified city of Jericho when its walls collapsed. Young David defeated the great giant of the Philistines with just a sling and a stone. These and many more are all great stories and examples of God's people who triumphed with God's help. They encourage us. In today's message, we are reminded that even when the circumstances look the most difficult, we know that when we stand with our God, He will stand for us.
2 Chron. 15:1-9; 14:11-15; Rom. 8:31; 1 Sam. 17; 2 Cor. 11:18; Isa. 55:6-8; Heb. 13:5; Rom. 8:35; Matt. 24; 28:20
Join with us as we celebrate Pastor Ferrell's 70th year in the ministry this first Sunday in June! Drop him a note, or send him an e-mail this week in appreciation!
